Church Baby

What a pretty girl...all dressed up and ready to sing and worship the Lord at church. Madi enjoys church! I think singing is her favorite part. She claps and even does a little dance sometimes.
In this picture, she's already collected a rock. She has it cupped in her left hand. What a girl!
Grammie loves you, Madi...

Saturday = FUN

Our typical Saturday includes a little driveway shopping (rock collecting) and then some relaxation in the pool. A perfect day in the life of a 16 month old! I say a delightful day...that's for sure!

Madi ROCKS

Madi LOVES to play in the rocks and dirt. It's our ritual on a daily basis to go outside and play in the rocks (landscaping) and dirt. She's taking a break from digging to relax a minute in the over turned bird bath.

Haulin' Hay

Madi eating gooseberries...

Madi picking gooseberries

Greg helped Pa get in hay since he was down with a kidney stone. Madi loved watching the tractor when she wasn't eating gooseberries! She loves to pick them right off the vine and eat them.

Blessings...

We continue to be blessed beyond measure! The scripture I read on a daily basis, several times a day is Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

We are preparing for our vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. Johnny and Portia are going with us too and I am so excited! We can't wait to get Madi on the beach and in the pool. I will share pictures when we return! Until then...

"Madi the Jack-O-Lantern"

Tandi & I decided to take Madi to our neighbor's yard to have a photoshoot by the pretty fall decorations. We didn't realize anyone was home as we were making odd noises and shouting "BOO, BOO, BOO!" trying to get Madi to laugh. Our neighbor opens the front door and said she had no idea what that noise was. We had fun and I think Madi did, too!

Madi, Madi, Madi

It's Monday so today has been a long one. After being with Madi all weekend, I missed her a lot today. Amy is still babysitting her but that's about to come to an end. I think she is getting a job soon; a real one! Madi was so sweet this evening. She ate her cereal, drank a few ounces of milk and then let me rock her to sleep. What a doll! I love to rock her. She is truly God's gift to the Barnwell's. I am already looking forward to the weekend so I can spend more time with her. Portia is flying for the first time tomorrow. I am excited for her. I can't wait to hear all about her trip.
