State Park Dinner

We met at Cumberland Mountain State Park for an early celebration for Father's Day.  It was all you can eat rib night.  Yummy!

We enjoyed a delicious meal.  Pa and MamMaw were with us but I failed to get their picture.  Not sure how that happened!

We are so blessed to have each other.  We're not a bad looking family either!  HA!

Timmy the turtle

Timmy the turtle showed up at our garage door today.  We think he was looking for Madi Lynn!  I sent Madi a picture of him on my phone and then shooed him back into the grass so he can be on his way.  Hopefully, he'll appear again when she's here next time!  I wonder what the odds are of that?

Brady's 1st haircut

Brady had his 1st haircut today!  Portia called me and asked if she is supposed to wait until he is a year old to have his hair cut.  I said, "no".  She told me that everytime she mentioned cutting his hair to anyone they would imply that she needed to wait until he is a year old.  I encouraged her to have it cut.  It needed it!  The picture below is before the scissors.  I think you'll agree that it looks so much better now!

Hanging out with Grammie

I took today off instead of Friday to keep this precious angel.  Two of Miss Stacie's three children have strep so we didn't want Sadie around them (sorry kids).  Sadie enjoyed sitting in her bouncy seat.  She can even hit the buttons to turn on the music!

Dr. Shanks is driving new wheels!  He is happy as can be in his new truck.  It is very nice!  I love it, Johnny!  And, you look so good in it!  Congratulations!  Happy trails...

What about a 74 year old man buying a even bigger Harley Davidson motorcycle?  Oh, no; the one he had wasn't big enough!  It's a pretty cycle if there is such a thing! 
Pa, you never cease to amaze me!  I hope I'm as frisky as you are when I'm 74!
